I had to be towed on Saturday from Big Pine, CA to Carson City, NE.  My driver Chris was a great guy and thanks to Roadside Assistance from Subaru for the free ride.

20 June 2014, California: Inyo County, Big Pine

20 June 2014, California: Inyo County, Big Pine (bird list from Canyon Rd. near Oasis)

The trip has been derailed by car problems.  My brand new Subaru Outback is having an engine coolant problem.  I am headed to Carson City, Nevada tomorrow to have it fixed by a local Subaru dealer.

The highlight of the day was eating at the Coppertop BBQ - highly recommended.
