I have been birding around Stephenville Crossing as well as recording male Mourning Warblers.  I have some photos of the famous Stephenville Crossing birding hotspots near the railroad bridge – one of the best birding areas in the province.

It was a rainout today with strong winds that eventually gave rise to sunshine.  However, it was after the birds stopped singing.  I was unable to record any Mourning Warblers today.

Heading for Newfoundland, otherwise known as “the Rock” tomorrow.  I am in North Sydney after a day of playback experiments in Wreck Cove.  Below is a list of today’s last sightings in Wreck Cove, Nova Scotia and some views from the Hotel North where I am staying tonight.
