23 June 2017, Roddickton Rd., Rte. 432, near Plum Point,
Newfoundland
It was a lousy day for anything with periods of rain and
clouds all day. I was able to record
some more birds and perform playback experiments (Roddickton 1988 versus
Roddickton 2017 songs). I saw my first
Caribou today. It has an ugly wound on
its left flank. It might be a wound from
a predator or an ectoparasite infection.
