25 June 2013, British Columbia: Chetwynd
Chetwynd is an extremely significant study site because it is part of the hybrid zone between Mourning Warblers and MacGillivray's Warblers. I have included a habitat shot below which is like most of the other habitat photos I have posted: roadside brush and logging clearcuts. I came up on this Bobcat/Lynx while driving along Wildmare Rd. I also captured some video of Red Crossbill, Lynx and Black-tailed Deer.
Habitat 1 from Hybrid Zone - dense roadside brush along Wildmare Forest Service Rd.
Habitat 2 from Hybrid Zone - clearcut along Benson Creek Forest Service Rd.
