Drive from Lake Louise, Alberta to McBride, British Columbia

After spending the night in Lake Louise, Alberta I headed out along Rte. 16 to my next study site in McBride, British Columbia.   It is one of the most spectacular scenic drives in North America (see photos below).

I also encountered three species of big game mammals along the way, including Mountain Goat, Elk and Grizzly Bear.
